Alphabet Wed.

So my main goal with my son right now is to learn and study finding and using his letters. I decided to do Alphabet Wednesdays for a craft theme. Today's letter was A

What goes better with A than apple?

Anyways, we made it simple today, we used paper to make an apple cut out and painted the body red and the leave and stem green. Simple, right? Not really. I would say that these cut outs should be made on cardboard or something sturdier than paper. Lesson learned. So we re-did the craft with cardboard.

Our next step is to use a sharpie marker to draw the letter A on the apple and finally to hang it on the wall in our 'class room'. We will continue these until the alphabet is complete.

Also, I plan to make a weekly craft curriculum and post it at the beginning of the week.

Please excuse me if I do things a little slowly, or skip days, I will certainly try to catch up.

A few of the things that I am hoping to teach {my son} are his ABC's, 123's, days, months, seasons, and how to spell his name. My goal is to accomplish these by Christmas. Wish me luck!
